TerraCurve - Tri-Rail's Getaway to Yosemite

There are obvious benefits of traveling by rail. In commemoration of this past Earth Day and Clean Air Month, SFRTA (in partnership with Comcast) is giving away a 4-day, 3-night getaway for two to the beautiful Yosemite National Park.

Tri-Rail is the green way to go to school, work or play with affordable fares and trains every 20 or 30 minutes during rush hours. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy a relaxed commute, while saving time, money, gas and doing your part to help preserve the environment.

Tri-Rail has been running on biodiesel fuel since October of 2008. Made from either palm oil or soy oil, biodiesel fuel has significantly less impact on the environment than regular diesel. It produces lower emissions and presents fewer hazards when being stored or transported, without sacrificing power or efficiency.
